Paul's mmmbop

Hi my name is Paul, and I've had my mmmbop for around 2 weeks now and thought i'd share some pics with you.

Ragley Mmmbop frame lime [16"]
2009 Rock shox domain 318is [maxel] 1.5" steerer.
Clarks skeletal lmtd edition red/white brakes
Halo S.A.S purple haze rims on dmr red revolver hubs.
Sram redwin red 9 spd casset
Slx rear mech
Gravity crankset with e13 single speed purple chain ring, blackspire chain device [red]
Azonic hustler bars [762mm, 2" rise]
Straitline split stearer clamp stem, 1.5"
Gravity big fat pig 1.5" headset.
Nuke proof 1.5" spacers x3 [25mm,5mm,5mm]
Dmr grab seat clamp [soon to be replaced with straitline seat clamp]
Dmr v12 pedals [black] soon to be replaced with straitline sc's [red]
Maixs huckworm tyres, dual ply 60a 2.5"
Da bomb hellfire xc seat post
Funn launch sadel.

Its a long list but i think thats everything.

It's taken me a while to get my mmmbop finished but im very pleased with the result.
I could'nt decide what frame i wanted at 1st, but im glad i picked this.
It rides really well with the forks at 160mm down any slope or straight,
then i can drop the forks down to 120mm and it flys uphill and is like a road bike on the straights lol.
The bike feels really easy to keep ontop of in any situation, and isnt harsh at all..
and iv been riding ful sus for 3 years prior, so it was a suprise to find it so comfy on long rides.

My next bike is a full sus, as i need an upgrade on my current full sus.
But once iv done that, i feel i may want another ragley, maybe the new bagger or troof.

My Blue Pig

Here's mine on it's maiden voyage on the Foresthill Divide Loop in Auburn, CA.  Had a blast riding it.  It is exactly what I was hoping it would be... a fun trail bike!

Blue Pig 16" from Brisbane Australia

Replaced a 6" duallie to be more versatile and trail friendly, saved over 2kg.
It does ride very nicely, climbs ok but will put a 80mm angle-down stem on it, jumps stable, lands softly, corners well when body weighting is really exagerated.

Fox 36 160mm Vanilla RC2 forks
FSA pig headset.
1" rise OS bars, ODI lock-ons, Truvativ 60mm stem, changing to a 75/80.
Hadley hubs on Sun MTX 36h rims
Hope M4 4-pot brakes, rebuilt with new seals, Goodridge lines.
Truavtiv Holzfeller cranks and BB, used 36t DH ring, changing to a new 34t.
12-28 SRAM cassette, X9 rear der, X0 grip shift, E13 XCX chainguide.
Ragley seatpost and a SDG Belair saddle.
CB Candy pedals.
15.0 kg with 2.35 Maxxis Larsen TT's.

My Initial Build

Photo_2

Just built up my shiny new Ragley Blue Pig, only an initial build after transferring components over from my old Jack. Looking to get a lighter wheel set, Hope Pro II hubs, new cranks, maybe some XTs, and some new wider, lowerbars. Its since been stickered.

Current build

Ragley Blue Pig 16" Frame
Rockshox Pike 454
Sun Rims MTX on DMR Revolver Front and XT Rear
Sram X-9 Drivetrain
FSA Platinum BB
FSA The Pig headset
Truvativ Husslefelt Cranks with a 32 Blackspire Ring
Avid Juicy 7's providing the stopping
Azonic Equaliser Stem
RaceFace Evolve bars
Odi Grips
Da Bomb seatpost, trying to remove the graphic, I like black and subtle
Home made velcro chainstay protector
Charge Spoon Saddle
MRP Slalom 3 Chain guide - will change for a lighter E-Thirteen
Maxxis High Roller up front with a WTB on the rear

She rides beautifully and once the upgrades are done should look beautiful.
