My new Pig finally Built

Just back from the first outing on my new Blue Pig, used to a 6" full suss so was very surprised by how at home I felt straight from the off.
Cant see how I can justify keeping the full suss for uplifts only :)
GREAT BIKE!!

Bluepig

2000

Big thanks Mr Brant!
Never built a bike from scratch before. Started mtb'in late 2008 a couple of rides showed me I needed something better than a catalogue nutbuster (the bike was actually called "Buster"). Hail the arrival of my Marin Wolfridge. About 2 months ago I got the hardtail yearning and after scouring the sites of the great and good of mtb the Pig seemed to fit the burly bill build.

Build:
18" frame
Azonic 765mm bar
Truvativ 60mm stem
rockshox revelation team air 120mm-150mm
Nukeproof generator wheels (this was never gonna be a light weight)
Deore finishing kit
Steve peat lock on grips
maxxis High Roller 42a front 60a rear
Shimano M520 clipless

weight around 33lbs (~15kgs) (without stickers, not in box but heyho! :p )

The ride. This is the dogs! I mainly ride the Llandegla Black because it's such a buzz and pigs do fly...My mate has a Lapierre 216 and he's no slouch (It's his bulletcam see link). I can turn quicker, climb as well as the wolf and take the new 4ft drop easily and oh how she rails berms! I weigh in at 13st 7lb (83kg) 5'11" (1.8m) She felt right from the first ride. Job done!
Could the tube tube cable guides clip together to make cleaning less fiddly?
Thanks again Mr B I love it!

PS Any advice would be appreciated.

mmmmmmmBop

Eager to try the Ragley geometry and with frame and fork both going for a song, why not. Its my first aluminium hardtail and I'm 5'7", so depending on how I get on with it I might be ordering a 14" steel frame from the 2011 collection!

Frame: Last blue 16" mmmBop from The Bike Chain
Fork: 2010 RockShox Revelation Team U-Turn 140-110mm with 1.5" steerer - rather unusual but perfect for the frame!
Wheelset: Stan's Notubes ZTR Flow rims with Hope Pro 2 front hub and Kenda Blue Groove Stick-E 2.35 tyre, and Shimano Alfine 8 hub gear and Kenda Nevegal DTC SWS 2.35 tyre
2nd Wheelset: WTB Speeddisc AM rims with Hope Pro2 front and rear singlespeed hubs, WTB Nano-raptor 2.1 tyres
Disc Brakes: Avid Elixir R 185mm front, 160mm rear
Chainset: RaceFace Evolve XC with Hope BB, Wellgo MG-1 Ti pedals and On-one Doofer tensioner, 30t granny ring for Alfine, 32t middle for offroad singlespeed, 36t outer for commuting singlespeed and Salsa Ring Dinger outer outer :-)
Steering: On-one Fleegle bar, Transition Temple Lite 50mm stem, FSA Orbit Xtreme Pro headset, Ergon GA1 Leichtbau grips and Shimano Nexus shifter
Sitting: SDG Bel Air saddle, On-one Twelfty seatpost and Hope QR seat clamp
Weight: 29lb with Alfine wheelset, 26lb with singlespeed wheelset

My first outing on the TD1

I loved the 26" Ti  that i had to have the 29er.
I could go on about the ride but lets just say i seemed to have a smile on my face allday. Enough said. Well done Brant, another fantastic product.
