Here’s the Ragoire enjoying a little rest in some awesome autumn sunshine up in Woburn woods in Milton Keynes.

Shortly after this I did a moody front wheel landing off a 1.5” step drop and stacked it! No damage to Ragoire or rider though so the best sort of off! J

Highest Blue Pig in Crete, Greece

Hello from Greece!

I'm a proud owner of a Blue Pig '11, probably the only one in Crete!

Last Sat, 5. Nov.2011, I took the Pig to the highest summit of Crete, Mt Ida (Psiloritis) at 2.456m. The bike was pushed and carried for most of the way up, riding just a few short sections, since there are no ski lifts on the mountain, or roads above 1500m.

After a short rest I rode the bike down and enjoyed the steep and technical terrain with the Pig offerning an awsome ride, despite the rocky terrain! From what we know, it is probably the first bike descent of the mountain, too!!

The route was 5km long with about 900m elevation gain. (double that with the way down!!)

Hi folks,

As the Season started, I almost couldn't stop riding it.
Ever since then I love my new Bike. I did a litte tweaking and adjusting, tried diverent handlebars and saddles...
Next year I think I'm going to find my ultimate tyre-combo.
The bike was not only ridden in day trips, I also enjoyed a few hours in the Woods.
I took it to Lago Di Garda two times this year, and also used it in 2 Enduro MTB Races...

My Blue pig

Have had this bike since building it in April this year and I can honestly say it is THE
best hardtail I have ever riden. It's a proper trail eating monster and can soak up
anything it's thrown down and i love it.
I'm running:

I am sending photos of my brand new ''partner''.

Although I have been a XC racer (with FS), this is the first time I enjoy riding. The smile that is drawn on my face reaches my ears (this is a traditional Greek expression in order to express the emotions one feels)

The title I would choose for this bike could be : ''The forgotten pleasure''.

Every time that I am behind those bars, I feel like I am holding a hummer and I see everything around me as nail. Meaning that I want to hit every berm, to hit every rock, to be in the air in any situation. Every singletrack is like a safe ''playground''.

It is not just another bike....it is the ''elevator'' of the soul ....!!!!

Ragley Blue Pig MK1 - rigid 96er

Hi All,

For two years the Pig served me well and has been fit with number of forks and other components. Trails near where I live are fairly smooth and I use the Pig for my daily commuting (11 miles one way) so I have decided to give a try with 29er front wheel and rigid forks. Been riding like that for over a month and can say it makes so much sense for what I use the bike for, the bike is much faster. I took it like that for Bristol Oktoberfest 4hr race and was more than satisfied with the setup. Do not get me wrong, I still have the pair of RVL's XX hanging on the wall in case we go out for some serious MTB'ing.

PS. Saint cranks were fitted temporarily only, I normally use the Deus one which were awaiting a new crank bolt at the time.

The Ragoire in the Sky with...

Here’s the Ragoire on a very wet and soggy Skyline trail at Afan, Wales on the 17^th Sept.

The terrible conditions resulted in a dulled top tube due to muddy shorts rub but its still doing strong and dealt with the rocky downhills better than I did!

It was somewhat out of its natural environment but still got recognised as a bad boy Blue Pig!

hi guys this is my Ragley blue pig MK2 custom build with :

Shimano XTR shifters, SLX double and bash cranks, SLX front mech, saint rear mech, and a XT cassette and XT brakes. it has hope pro II evo straight pull on stans flow rims wheel set (tube less). Thompson seat post and 50mm stem. a Fizik saddle. nuke proof head set. rock shox sektor coil U-turn 150 mm travel with 20mm bolt through, and a black spire stinger chain device.

this is a awesome bike glad I got a blue pig and nothing else. It has to be one of the best Hard tail bikes on the market. with the slack head angle it makes it a superb bike for down hill and with the U-turn fork it makes it easy to climb too. The blue pig is a excellent bike to go down the blue pig decent on.
